Myself & Hamish both headed south to London yesterday to attend the Dawn to Dusk awards ceremony. Being a rather prestigious event at the Royal Air Force Club, Piccadilly, London called for us both to attend wearing full highland dress - any excuse to wear our kilts...
The evening consisted of a formal dinner before the main event of the awards ceremony. In it's 46th year, the Dawn to Dusk committee awarded us both the Tiger Club Trophy & also an additional specially commissioned "Sea Plane" category trophy. Our entry was the first ever to enter using an amphibious aircraft or amateur radio.
The end of a fantastic journey....
